In February 2018, we started our pilot-project called ‘Water Quarter‘ or ‘tap-water friendly Mariannenkiez and its neighborhood’.
What is the project about?
The Water Quarter Project’s goal is to make the neighborhood more tap water friendly, and kick plastic bottles out! The project is focused in Berlin-Kreuzberg (Germany), and it is actually the first time ever that a whole district is working towards the promotion of tap water!

What are our key target groups?
The Water Quarter Project has a very ambitious goal of reaching as many people as possible, this includes children, businesses, restaurants, and everyday Berliners.

What do we do?
In order to reach our goal we make an effort to reach all communities in Berlin. This includes raising awareness in English, Turkish, and Arabic speaking communities here in Berlin.

About a tip: tap
a tip: tap is a non-profit organization, which fights against plastic and in favor of tap water. In the project ‘tap-water friendly Mariannenkiez and its neighborhood’ we are offering water tests and education opportunities for schools, day-care centres and extracurricular learning centers. We support organizations, authorities, and companies with consultation services about switching to tap water.
